The key to our success is based on three important elements 
Our teachers
The key to our success is based on three important elements: Our teachers, our methodology, and our resources. The main element is the staff of 35 teachers who have an experience of 16 years teaching Spanish to foreign students. These teachers are college graduates, and have earned a certificate in teaching Spanish as a Second Language; they are up to date in the latest teaching techniques, and have been selected for their outstanding qualities as teachers. We believe there should be a strong working relationship between our teachers and our students.
Our Methodology
The second key element Our methodology, has been developed over the years of teaching thousand of foreing students. We offer all a 1-1 student-teacher, which ensures that every student has the individualized guidance needed. We have a system with 8 levels, from Beginner to Advance, in which each level builds on the last one, leading to master the Spanish language. Our system focuses on all the vital areas on language learning: listening, reading, writing, vocabulary acquisition, and speaking. Our main focus is on spoken mastery. In Tecun Uman the student is the center of our methodology. We also attempt to bring the lessons personal and professional interests, so that the students will acquire the necessary vocabulary and skills in speaking about their field of interest.
Our Resources
The third key to our success is the outstanding resources we offer to our students. We have developed our own resources and have also acquired the most effective, challenging, and entertaining books published in Spain, Mexico and Guatemala. This allows us to offer the most engaging materials available. We also offer our students free movies produced in Spain and Latin America, all subtitled. This helps students to acquire proficiency in listening.

Our classes are from 8 a.m. to as late 6 p.m.
depending on the number of hours that the student would like to take with us. For a typical four hour course, the first half is spent on learning new useful grammar and the second half is devoted to apply what has been learned previously. We offer the students the option to also indicate how much time they would like to advice up their class time. We recognize that our clients study for various reasons (Professional, educational, and for fun), so, we want to make sure that we accomplish the needs of our students. Normally, we suggest that students who plan to say a short time take more hours per day, and those staying longer, less hours per day. We make every effort to make sure that our students stay is comfortable and enjoyable. We offer additional services to our students like home with local families and the option of living in a pension; we also provide cultural activities and excursions for all our students, of course these are all optional. And whether the school is recognized by INGUAT and the Ministry of Education of Guatemala.
